HK Day 2: Laugh Trip

The commute was still unbearably long. It’s colder today than yesterday.  We had a quick breakfast at Cafe de Coral. I got this:

This is chicken fillet but not the breast part tapos yung sauce was similar to the sauce of the baked porkchop. The meat was really tender. And masarap talaga s’ya. The scrambled egg I think had some milk and butter. It didn’t taste bland. And it wasn’t dry so it was really good. That thing in the paper bag is the toasted bread.

The office feel was relatively the same, pleasant. Yes, pleasant. I got a little stressed but it wasn’t that much compared to L’s stress level. We went out for lunch with Iris, Ada, KL, and Sir Lenart. Dim sum!!!

I thought this had shrimp inside pero weird yung laman n’ya. Parang may ground pork na may peanuts at ibang gulay. Hindi naman kadiri yung lasa. Ok naman s’ya. Yung balot lang masyadong sticky.

Chicken feet!

Or cuapao.

I have no idea what this is. Parang kakanin eh. The taste was a little salty. But I cannot really distinguish kung saan s’ya gawa.

This is a beef ball. Parang may halong flour or cornstarch, maybe.

Nagulat ako bakit biglang may fried rice. Wala naman ulam. Hahaha! Kakaiba yung fried rice kasi merong fish eggs parang yung nilalagay sa California Makki.

This is more of like dessert. Matamis kasi. Ang kalat lang din n’ya kainin kasi nalalaglag yung powder n’ya all over the place.

This is one of my favorites.

Parang siopao ulit pero instead of meat it has this yellow stuff inside na matamis.

I thought this was just the normal dumpling. Or sharksfin for that matter.

This one, pang dessert ata talaga. It’s like sticky rice pero yung labas is crunchy because it seemed fried. Then it had this gooey black thingy inside na wala ako idea kung ano. Parang kadiri kainin pero masarap s’ya in fairness.

L was definitely happy. Of course, I was happy too. It was really cold when we were walking to the APM mall where Chao Inn was located. Medyo mahal yung lunch namin. HK$85 per person. Oo hindi nila kami nilibre. Shempre alam nila may allowance kami. Haha!

They said it would be colder tomorrow. Oh my. Buti na lang, God loves us so much kasi bumukas ulit yung door. Haha.

Mushroom soup! We ordered the combo meal e kaya meron soup then yung main meal then yung drink. Plus HK$4 ata ‘pag cold drink.

This is my order. Norwegian smoked salmon with scallops in linguine pasta and creamy dill sauce. Basta something like that. Hehehe. Haha.

This is L’s. I think this is Pasta Bolognese. Hehe.

This is their iced lemon tea. I think this is the usual hot tea, made by soaking a tea bag in hot water then it is iced and flavored with lemon slices.

Tapos, after kumain, nagikot-ikot kami. Haha.

Okay, sleeping time na. Oo iniinggit kita. :p
