HK Day 5: Lazy

Lazy, kasi Friday na. It’s not too cold today. Naka-leggings lang ako and I didn’t have to wear my coat. For breakfast, we went to McDo. I had my typical McDo breakfast of Sausage McMuffin with egg, hash brown, and coffee. Nakakatuwa yung stirrer nila. It also serves as the straw na rin. At least you don’t have to burn your lips tryin’ to sip the coffee. Tapos aliw yung muffin nila mas malaki compared to the ones in Manila. Tapos mas makapal/matangkad I guess because of the egg being bigger here too. Nakakatamad magtrabaho.

We had lunch at the APM Mall, sa food court. Hehehe. We ate at this Japanese place pero hindi ko alam ang name kasi walang translation. Masarap naman kinain ko. At busog na busog ako. Hassle lang kasi medyo malayo nilalakad. Eto order ko:

The one on the right is udon. Masarap. The one on the left naman was chicken with some sort of curry sauce. Unexpectedly good.

L is busy kasi. She had to finish testing one project. Because of that, hindi na kami nasamahan ni Iris sa APM mall para magbook ng hotel for our trip to Macau tomorrow. We went to The Spaghetti House. Iba ‘to sa The Old Spaghetti House na nasa Pilipinas. Mas sushal. Ang mahal nga ng kinain namin eh. Sana hindi kami mapagalitan. Her bill was HK$156 and mine was HK$129, give or take a few cents. First, we had the Seafood Chowder with the Bread Puff. Yummy! Pero bakit isa lang ang hipon? Hehehe.

Pardon the pic, that time ay nangangalahati na yung soup. Hehe.

Then I had the Seafood Risotto in Squid Ink. If you look at it parang kadiri kasi maitim yung rice. Pero I swear it was super masarap. Tapos hindi s’ya tinipid sa seafood. It had a lot of mussels, clams, shrimps, and squid na perfect talaga ang pagkaluto. Hindi chewy or anything.

It’s not too sweet so okay s’ya on that aspect. But overall, okay naman. Lasang strawberry pa rin.

Then L had this pasta with cream sauce na ang sahog ay mushrooms, sausage, and bacon. The pasta was mas mataba than normal pero hindi naman overcooked.

Come to think of it, sayang ang Friday night na instead of gumagala kami kung saan-saan eto kami sa hotel nagpapaka-adik mag-internet. Pero ok na rin, at least we can arrange our itineraries for the other days.
