HK Day 6: Malas

Yes, we spent our Friday night with our laptops. Kung kelan Friday saka naman hindi gumala. After that, nanood pa ‘ko ng movie. Si L din daw. Almost 4am na siguro kami natulog pareho. Then  kanina we found out na hindi pa pala darating yung pinalaundry naming. So namomroblema kami ni L kung pa’no kami aalis kasi wala s’yang damit. In the end, we decided na suotin na n’ya yung dress n’ya sans leggings. Good luck na lang sa lamig. Take note, late na nun. We were originally scheduled to leave at 10am. We were unable to ride the shuttle bus kasi puno na. I was really hungry pero sabi ni L dun na kami kumain sa mall where we would buy the tickets for Macau. Then after buying tickets, kumain kami sa Ajisen Ramen.

As in ang sarap talaga. Tapos meron s’yang scallops na paborito namin ni L, may pork meat, and other stuff. Hahaha!

Obvious naman siguro kung ano ito. Japanese fried rice! At shempre, hindi naubos ni L. As usual. Hahaha!

I forgot the name of this pero basta salad s’ya na yung nasa pic ay maraming maraming crab meat na malalaki pero nung dumating, kakarampot ang crab meat at puro pipino s’ya. But the sauce, first time ko makatikim ng ganun. It’s a wasabi sauce. Gumuguhit sa ilong. Pero masarap talaga.

This was supposed to be scallops na parang nasa sizzling plate pero pansin namin parang mas marami ang mushroom. Hindi ko alam ano sauce nito. The taste, hmmm… Pwede na.

Ang paborito ni L, ang bean curd. Parang tofu lang na mas malambot. Then kind of crispy on the outside. The sauce medyo lasang tempura sauce.

So wala pa kami tutuluyan for the night at dun lang kami nag-isip kung saan ba talaga kami pupunta. Naisip naming sa Hotel Sintra or Metropole pero parang ang tagal na naming nakatayo wala pang dumarating na shuttle for both hotels. We decided to go City of Dreams na lang muna. Before boarding the shuttle, may binigay na parang flyer. Andun yung parang package rates ng Hard Rock Hotel at Hyatt. Hard Rock was offering a “Rock The Spring” pacakge worth HKD 1,688++ na may kasama nang one night accomodation in a standard King room, choice of C-Reserve The House of Dancing Water tickets for two, or MOP 500 City of Dreams F&B coupon, HKD 300 City Dollars, Turbojet one-way economy class tickets to HK for two or complimentary one-way limousine service from ferry terminals or airport, MOP 100 credit for a minimum spend of MOP 500 at Rock Spa, Kids’ City 25% entry discount, 20% discount at the Bubble Shop, and priority passes for two to the Dragon’s Treasure  show. Hyatt was offering the “Wow” pacakge worth HKD 1,833++ na may kasamang one night accomodation in a grand deluxe King room, The House of Dancing Water tickets for two, daily buffet breakfast for two, HKD 300 City dollars, present on-day The House of Dancing Water ticket to enjoy @5% entry discount at Kids’ City, and priority access for two at the Dragon’s Treasure show. That time mga 2PM na so medyo panic mode na ako. We then thought try namin sa Hyatt. So we boarded a shuttle bus goin’ to Hotel Sintra na lang. We inquired then sabi 1.4 HKD/MOP ang 1-night stay then we went muna sa Metropole para macompare. 1.3HKD/MOP naman dun. 100-dollar difference and since mas maganda ang exteriors ng Sintra, dun na kami nagcheck-in. Then after a few minutes we went out na ulit. Then we walked around sa mga shopping area. Unfortunately, wala akong size. Masyado kasi akong sexy. Malas talaga. Sobrang lamig pa talaga sa Macau. As in mas malamig dito kesa sa Hong Kong. Lakas ng hangin. But still, tiniis namin ni L makapagpicture-picture lang. Actually, it’s more for my sake. Ako naman yung first time dito e. This is like her 3rd time already.  We had dinner at this restaurant na hindi ko maalala ang name. Pero mura lang kasi kaya tinry namin. First time na nakakain ako ng hindi masarap! I didn’t like the Squid in Noodle Soup na inorder ko.

Parang walang lasa yung sabaw. Though I must say na ok yung pagkaluto nung squid. Yung inorder kong Deep Fried Shrimp Wanton fail din. See for yourself:

But I find it weird na halo-halo na yung old structures with the shopping areas and the churches kaya parang ang gulo.

Diamonds are forever! We had to leave na talaga kasi hindi na namin kaya ang lamig. At dahil malas nga ang theme ng araw na ‘to, may nangyari sa’kin on the way back. Natisod ako at muntik nang humalik sa lupa. Saksakan ng daming tao ang nakakita. Nakakahiya but I laughed my head off na lang and walked away. O-ha!  Sobrang laugh trip kami ni L. Bukas, balak namin mamili ng pasalubong para sa officemates namin then punta sa Fisherman’s Wharf, City of Dreams, St. Paul ruins, and I don’t know where else. Sana makapanood kami ng dancing water show.  Ganun kami ka-malas na wala nang available tickets for tonight. Hay. Please Lord, let tomorrow be a better day.
